In stillness

In stillness is born
love that doesn’t choose,
a heart that sits with grief,
compassion melting strife,
mind deeply at ease,
visage adorned by smile.

In stillness die
angry replies that
hurt many hearts,
desires for things
that vanish as clouds,
confusion and delusion
of I-birthing minds.

In stillness
words cease to inflict
as darts shooting by;
emotions, as waves,
find rest at the shore,
and infinite blossoms
of wisdom come to fore.
