A River Flows

A river Flows ~
takes with her all she sees
and plays with the golden fishes
entangled in her sparkling locks ~

She sprinkles and throws her drops around ~
waves to the trees ~ races with the wind ~
she tickles the rocks she passes
and leaves little kisses in the morning grass ~

She watches the children play
and flowers open with the birth of a day ~
she smiles at the lovers’ kiss
brings them spring and her breezing bliss ~

She enjoys the setting of the sun ~
saying ~ Good Night ~ to an old man ~
and when the first star whispers to the silver moon
she joins the sea ~ swaying in one endless tune ~
